Garrards Pty Ltd

Garrards Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated company that has traded since 1985, with 17 branches located across Australia and New Zealand. It was started by husband and wife Chris and Maureen Garrard, whose three sons Daren, Rodney and Ashley later joined the company in manager and director roles. Branches were progressively opened, beginning in Sydney in 1988, followed by Melbourne in 1989, Adelaide in 1991, Perth in 1994, Darwin in 1996 and the Gold Coast in 1997.

The company supplies products, equipment, training and technical support to the pest control industry, as well as the equine and canine markets, across Australia and New Zealand.

Garrards Pty Ltd supplies pest control products to the trade around Brisbane, and the feedback points to a team whose knowledge and willingness to assist stand out. Rod, Mark and Jared are named repeatedly as approachable and generous with their time, explaining how products work and giving practical guidance rather than simply making a sale. Reviewers describe pricing as reasonable, noting that staff make an effort to help without inflating costs, and several mention receiving sound advice on the right equipment and pesticides for their operations, whether for an established pest business or a smaller setup being equipped for the first time.

Support with regulatory requirements is also valued, with Jared singled out for informative help in that area. Reliability of supply recurs across the accounts: orders are described as correct and products as performing as expected, including bromakil used against mice and rats. Friendly, helpful service over years of repeat dealings is another common theme, with staff taking time to understand what each customer needs. The breadth of stock and the hands-on experience behind it keep trade buyers returning, and it is the depth of product knowledge across the team that emerges most strongly from the feedback.
