Tom's Pest Control Gold Coast

This is the second time I have used Tom's Pest control on the Gold Coast and I can highly recommended them. They actually do a proper service with proper pest control chemicals. We never saw an ant after the treatment. The gentleman that has been out to us twice now is very professional and very helpful.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY ! These guys basically turned up, dropped off a cage and expected us to do the rest. We were originally told they would block the hole to stop the possum getting back into the roof, but after charging us $750, they later advised that this was "out of scope" and not something they would do. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide the temporary block they referred to afterwards. If preventing the possum from re-entering wasn't part of the service, that should have been made clear from the start, not after we'd already paid. From February 2026 through to today, 23 July 2026, they spent a total of about 15 minutes at our property. It took nearly six months to finally catch the possum, and most of the effort seemed to fall back on us. For $750, we expected a complete and professional service, clear communication, and for the issue to be properly resolved. Instead, we've been left with delays, changing explanations about what was and wasn't included, and a result that falls well short of what we were led to expect. We don't believe the service provided represents value for money or justifies the fee charged.

We had been using what we thought was a reputable local pest control for many years only to find out the hard way they had NOT been performing any worthy or proper termite inspections (or treatment) even though we'd been paying for same. Sadly our home ended up subject to an termite infestation that resulted in major damage to our home. I sent requests for help to multiple companies and Tom's was the first to respond both by email and phone. They took the time to understand my issue and concerns. Then arranged for two senior termite technicians to come around the next day. The techs (Mark and Vince) were professional, super thorough, and not only spent well over 2 hours with their inspection but ensured I was being informed and educated throughout (which I really appreciated). From fearing the worst, by the time they left I had piece of mind our home was in good hands and the infestation was PROPERLY inspected, located, and treated. And this all performed for LESS then we'd been charged for a "standard" inspection with our old firm. We'll be following up with a full barrier treatment with Tom's in coming weeks which Mark advised he'd return to manage as well to ensure we had comnfort the issue was both fully resolved and prevented in future. Have already recommended Tom's to many of our family and friends. Excellent service and super thorough. They obviously take pride in their work and their reputation. Something that's becoming extremely rare to find nowadays.
