Pestymite

Pestymite is a local, family-owned pest control business in Mackay, owned by Ken Coombes, who brings over 30 years of experience. Its main services include general and commercial pest control, timber pest inspections and termite chemical barrier installations.

The company also provides stack and silo fumigation for grain and sugar protection, and offers flexible, contract-free service options.

Ant infestations and general household pest problems form the backdrop to much of the feedback for this Mackay operator. Ken, whose name recurs throughout the accounts, is described as punctual, accommodating and willing to take on urgent requests without hesitation. Reviews regularly refer to the thoroughness of the inspection and treatment, both inside and outside the home, with results that have proven lasting; ants that had troubled one property for an extended period did not return many months later.

Customers note that Ken explains the work clearly, answers questions about upkeep and offers advice on managing pests between scheduled services. Tidiness is another theme, with any mess cleared away before he departs. Pricing is characterised as fair and representing good value, while his manner is consistently called friendly and knowledgeable, a combination that has kept some clients returning across several years. Communication is clear before and after each visit, and the products applied are reported to act quickly, with evidence of activity gone by the following day. The work centres on household pest treatment and ongoing prevention advice.
