Sargents Pest Control

Sargents Pest Control is a local family company that has provided pest control services since 2009. Peter is the Managing Director and has overseen operations since 2016. He is a member of the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association (AEPMA) and holds a Dual Pest Controller Operator Licence for Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. Peter has completed 1080 certification in NSW and VIC and AQF-3 Chemical Certification. Sargents Pest Control uses Termidor products and is one of the top trained professional installers of EXTERRA Baiting Systems in Victoria.

The company specialises in both residential and commercial pest control services. It offers pre-purchase timber inspections and is the only local business trenching and treating new and existing piers/stumps. It lays chemical barriers and lifts and returns pavers. Sargents Pest Control successfully concluded a fruit fly eradication project for PIRSA. It serves Mildura, the Mallee, South Western NSW, and the Riverland including Renmark/Paringa, Loxton and Barmera. The company supports community organisations including Coomealla Mountainless Bike Club, Merbein Golf Club, Lake Cullulleraine Music Festival and The Lake Primary School.

Mildura residents engaging Sargents Pest Control describe a consistently smooth experience from the first phone call through to the finished job. Several customers highlight Kellie for her helpful and responsive manner when arranging bookings, noting how quickly appointments are confirmed and how handy the reminder emails are before the visit. The technicians, particularly Josh, Peter, Anthony and Pete, are repeatedly described as thorough, knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the treatment process clearly and arriving when expected, with notification sent if they are running behind.

The work itself covers general pest treatments, white ant and timber inspections, and targeted spider spraying of roof spaces, sheds, fences, outdoor furniture and property perimeters, with reviewers commenting on how efficient and effective the results prove to be, sometimes seeing spiders fall before the technician has even left. Detailed written reports following timber checks are another point that comes up often, appreciated by owners managing investment properties from interstate. Pricing is described as very reasonable, and the overall reliability and communication leave customers saying they would happily book the team again. Effective perimeter spraying and thorough timber inspections round out the recurring praise.
