Total Weed and Pest Control (Mackay)

Total Weed and Pest Control is a locally owned pest control business that has been operating in Mackay since 1990. It services residential and rural properties, as well as commercial and industrial sites, throughout Mackay and the surrounding districts.

The company has built up knowledge of local North Queensland pest issues and offers different treatments for the pests it services.

Long-standing customers in Mackay repeatedly highlight the personal service provided by Mick, whose name appears throughout the feedback. Several reviewers describe decades of continued use, spanning fifteen, twenty and even thirty years, which points to a level of trust built over repeated visits. Punctuality and reliability are mentioned often, with Mick described as arriving on time and delivering the treatment as promised. Pricing is characterised as fair, and customers note that the products used remain effective until the next scheduled service.

Care during application is another recurring point: furniture and pets are treated considerately, and the treatment is described as safe for families. Communication is praised, particularly the clear explanations given before and after the work, and the results are described as effective, with homes kept free of bugs. Domestic pest control is the main type of work discussed, covering multiple properties for some households. Friendliness, professionalism and a willingness to help round out the accounts, and the business is described as family owned rather than a franchise operation. The consistency of Mick's work over many years is the theme that ties the feedback together.
