5 Star Pest Solutions

5 Star Pest Solutions is a family owned local business providing pest control services throughout the Hervey Bay and Maryborough areas. Rod Govers is associated with the business and holds a Pest Management Technician license (number 25515).

The business specialises in pest control in the Wide Bay Region for ants, rats, lice & mites, termites, mice, spiders, fleas, bed bugs, cockroaches, birds, and mozzie/midgee treatment. It provides termite inspections, barriers, and termite treatments. Misting for biting midges and mosquitoes is carried out using a petrol backpack fogger. Flea exit sprays are performed for tenants doing move outs.

Treatments for ants, cockroaches, spiders and mice in and around Hervey Bay homes are the services customers most often describe, many of them handled by Rod. He is repeatedly called punctual, arriving when arranged and working thoroughly through houses, sheds and machinery to clear infestations. Several accounts mention his readiness to take on urgent jobs, including fitting a booking in the same day and attending on a public holiday. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the care taken around pets, with households keeping dogs and cats noting the treatments caused no concern for the animals.

Clear communication before and after the work is regularly praised, with quotes supplied and advice given for future treatment. Customers describe the pricing as reasonable and competitive for the standard of work delivered, and tidiness and a diligent manner are also noted. Results are reported to last, one customer arranging a return visit twelve months later. Rod's expertise is credited with solving a persistent ant problem that earlier treatments had not fixed.
