Active Termite Control

Active Termite Control is a one-person termite specialist operating across all of Sydney, with every inspection and treatment carried out personally by owner Nick Avramides, who has over 10 years of experience. Termite inspections use thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters, and treatments include chemical barriers, monitoring and baiting systems, and pre-construction physical barriers.

The business also provides pre-purchase timber pest inspections covering termites, borers and decay fungi, with a written report that can be used in settlement negotiations, and backs every inspection and treatment with a 6-month guarantee.

Nick, the technician named most often in feedback, is portrayed as thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy, and he explains his recommendations rather than merely quoting a figure. Reviewers describe termite inspections, pre-construction timber treatment and general pest treatments, with one builder by trade stating he now relies on the company for all such work.

Punctuality and reliability surface frequently, as does the care taken on site, including a job completed efficiently amid renovations when a great deal of clutter and debris had to be worked around. Something that features in review after review is Nick's friendliness and how he handles problems, such as a follow-up call a week after treatment to check whether any activity had returned, along with an offer to come back if needed.

Customers also value the advice given on lowering termite risk and the use of natural, low-risk products, alongside the sense of fair pricing and honest service. More than one review highlights that the same operator returns, which gives confidence that each visit is carried out correctly, supported by detailed explanations before and after the work. Repeat treatments and inspections keep clients coming back over several years, and concerns at the granny flat were checked without extra charge.
