Adelaide Pest Exterminators

Adelaide Pest Exterminators (A.P.E) is a family run pest control company founded by Robert McLean, with over 35 years of experience. The business specialises in stored product insects, food safety, and commercial property management, and provides both home and commercial pest control covering termites, ants, spiders, rodents and cockroaches.

Pre-construction termite protection systems come with a lifetime warranty, and the company also offers a money-back guarantee.

Households and café operators across Adelaide's northern suburbs describe a consistent experience with the team, from the first enquiry through to the work itself. Rob, named repeatedly in accounts, is portrayed as friendly, punctual and unhurried when explaining processes, whether the job involves termite prevention, white ant treatment or broader pest work. Several customers note that quotes are provided promptly and that scheduling fits around their own commitments.

On treatment days, reviewers repeatedly mention that the crew arrives when promised and works carefully, with attention to detail around roof voids, baits and perimeter spraying. Tidiness after the visit is a common theme, as is the willingness to answer questions about preventative treatments and safety in food-handling environments.

Commercial clients, including a café operator, highlight the reassurance gained from clear explanations of how treatments work, while homeowners value the practical advice offered on maintaining termite protection. Fair pricing is described alongside the quality of the finished result, and reviewers note that extra baiting for rats was handled without fuss during a scheduled visit. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is that nothing seems too much trouble for the team, with Robert praised for thoroughness from inspection through to treatment.
