Core Pest Solutions

Core Pest Solutions is a family-owned and operated Tasmanian business, founded in early 2016 by owners Dimity and Brendon, who obtained their license, insurance and necessary qualifications within the pest control industry. Their eldest son Lauchlan also works in the business and holds the title Senior Pest Technician.

The company provides residential, commercial, strata and end-of-lease pest control services, and offers to return free of charge to rectify the situation if pests return after treatment.

Households across Hobart have relied on Core Pest Solutions for recurring treatments, with several customers describing years of continued service for issues such as rodents, ants and spiders. Rodent proofing is singled out as effective, one reviewer noting that no mice have returned in three years, while exterior spraying for spiders and crawling insects is also repeatedly praised.

Reviewers consistently highlight the thoroughness of the work and the care taken to explain each step of the treatment process, from the initial assessment through to a follow-up call confirming what was done. Technicians Brendon and Lauchlan are named often, described as friendly, punctual and meticulous, with clear communication before and after each visit. Customers mention that pets are treated carefully and that treatments leave no unpleasant after-smell.

Booking is described as easy, and a next-day response to a pest problem is cited as a relief. The knowledge and attention to detail shown by the team come up often, with the same technicians requested for repeat work. Reliable service and a willingness to return if any concern arises are recurring themes, and long-standing clients describe keeping the company on for multiple properties. Effective ant and spider treatments remain a common point of praise.
