Elite Building & Pest Services

Elite Building & Pest Services is a family-owned and run business based in Newcastle, serving Maitland, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley. It provides building inspections, pre-purchase building and pest inspections, general pest control, termite inspections and termite management, with building inspectors, pest controllers and timber pest technicians who are fully licensed and insured.

Inspections use a Termatrac T3i termite radar, moisture meter and thermal imaging cameras, and are conducted in line with AS 4349.1-2007 for building inspections and AS4349.3 for timber pest inspections. Reports are provided within 24 hours.

Pre-purchase building and pest inspections and ongoing pest spraying form the two strands of work that customers of Elite Building & Pest Services most often describe, with the detail packed into the written reports emerging as a recurring theme. Mitch is named frequently, credited with taking time on the phone to walk through areas of concern, delivering findings that are easy to read and understand, and returning the formal document within hours of the visit.

Several customers note that inspections were arranged at short notice to help secure a property, and buyers describe gaining confidence in their decisions once the report was in hand. On the spraying side, a course of treatments brought a persistent black ant problem under control across multiple properties, with the application described as thorough and clean. Lewis is singled out for a spray completed courteously and with clear explanations of the process.

Households bordering bushland report that regular treatments make a noticeable difference to pest pressure. A point made in several accounts is the confirmation sent before each visit and the summary issued afterwards setting out what was found and what may need attention later. Yearly reminders keep long-standing clients returning, some for five years, and the small family-run nature of the business is mentioned approvingly.
