Hunter Pest Solutions Pty Ltd

Hunter Pest Solutions is a team of licensed and insured pest control professionals servicing Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley and the Central Coast, providing pre-purchase pest inspections, termite inspections and treatments, and general pest control for residential and commercial clients.

The company has been recognised as the Best Pest Control Service in Newcastle (2023) and, more recently, as the Best Regional Pest Control Company in New South Wales (2025).

Promptness and thoroughness are the themes that surface most often in feedback on this Newcastle operator, with the same technician named repeatedly. Doug arrives at the booked time, inspects the property carefully and then walks the customer through what he has found, which reviewers describe as both informative and easy to follow.

Several accounts of termite inspections and general pest treatments note that methods and products are explained before any work starts, along with advice on when the next inspection or spray is due, and that this is done without the pushiness people associate with larger chains. Treatments for mice and household pests are described as effective and mess-free, with the results holding up after the visit. Customers who have dealt with the business over several years repeatedly mention the consistency of both the communication and the standard of work.

Friendly, courteous and solution-oriented are terms that recur, as is the sense that expectations are exceeded. Something that features in review after review is how approachable Doug is, and how willingly he shares his knowledge. Follow-up advice and a clear explanation of what was treated round out the accounts, with termite inspections and baiting among the jobs most frequently described.
