Pest Protect Australia

Pest Protect Australia is owned by Co-Directors Litsa and Barney Adamou and operates alongside its parent company, House Inspect Australia. Litsa is South Australia's first qualified female building inspector, and Barney is a licensed builder with extensive practical construction experience. The business is led operationally by General Manager Chris Ansell, who has over 25 years of experience in the pest management industry.

The company provides services ranging from pre-purchase pest inspections to termite assessments, ongoing monitoring and construction-stage protection, and operates through a growing network of qualified professionals across Australia.

Pest Protect Australia draws consistent praise from Adelaide customers for the speed and professionalism of its termite and timber pest inspection work, with the team described as efficient and proficient across every job reviewed. Several customers highlight how quickly inspections are completed and reports delivered, including one account where the written report arrived within a day of the visit.

Named staff feature regularly in feedback: Bradie is singled out for working through traps in quick order, while Chris and the wider team are noted for being mindful of small children and a dog on site during the visit. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the prompt handling of urgent problems, such as an investigation into persistent noises in a roof that identified rats, followed by baiting and a return visit to remove a decomposing carcass and address odour entering the home through a bathroom vent.

Reviewers often mention the empathy and understanding shown by Vanessa and Santo when dealing with that situation, alongside clear communication before and after each stage, tidy workmanship and a general sense of working with genuinely helpful people. The recurring theme across the feedback is technical knowledge of timber pests applied with considerate, well-organised service delivery.
