Urban Edge Wildlife Management - Perth & Western Australia

Urban Edge Wildlife Management was founded by Regan Calley, a former Western Australia Police Detective. Calley is a licensed pest control shooter, a trained snake handler, and a qualified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor. He holds SSAA Practical Competency Target Accreditation and a Western Australian Police Professional Shooters Licence. The company holds Western Australian firearms licences including .22 Air Rifle, .22LR, .17HMR, .223 and .308. Calley brings over 20 years of discipline and safety experience from law enforcement and health, safety, and environmental work.

The company serves Western Australia, working with local councils, primary producers, commercial industry and hobby farmers. It provides council and shire pest control, rural and farm pest control, vineyard and winery pest control, and commercial facility pest control. Services include humane pest shooting, trapping, rabbit warren excavation, and animal monitoring through GPS and trail cameras. The company manages pigeons, birds, rabbits, kangaroos, foxes, snakes and rats. It provides emergency snake removal. It serves vineyards from Margaret River to Albany and conducted parrot population management at Parnells Nursery in Tincurrin in the Southern Wheatbelt.

Homeowners and property managers confronting pigeon infestations in roof spaces and gutters feature throughout the accounts left for Urban Edge Wildlife Management. Regan is the name that recurs most, described as knowledgeable, courteous and willing to explain each stage of the work before and during the visit. Various customers describe rapid responses to initial enquiries, followed by thorough inspections and detailed written quotes, with the actual removal often completed the same day.

A point made in several accounts is that blocked gutters and years of accumulated droppings were cleared alongside the bird proofing, leaving the roof and surrounding areas clean and tidy. Flexibility with scheduling stands out, with jobs arranged outside normal business hours at no additional cost. More than one review highlights the care taken to stop birds returning, with proofing installed to close off entry points rather than simply removing the current flock.

Commercial clients note the same professionalism when pigeons occupy larger buildings, praising stress-free coordination and fair pricing. Praise also covers safe working practices on roofs and the calm handling of wildlife, with possums and other animals mentioned alongside birds. The work spans bird control, wildlife management and solar panel maintenance, and customers in the Mandurah area consistently report that the outcome matched what was promised.
