Building And Pest Inspections Gladstone

Gladstone Building & Pest Inspections is owned and operated by Adam Priestley, who took over the business from previous owner Andrew Howard. Adam Priestley is a long-term resident of Gladstone with many years of experience in the building industry. He is a fully licensed and insured Builder, Building Inspector, Pest Inspector, and Pool Fence Inspector. The company holds a Building & Termite Pest Inspector License (number 15611153) and a Swimming Pool Safety Inspector License (number PS1302711), and carries Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

Inspections are carried out in accordance with the Australian Standard AS4349.1-2007 Inspection of Buildings, and all inspections include a thermal imaging scan of the property. Reports are supplied on the same day as the inspection, and buyers are welcome to attend the inspection on site. The company services the Gladstone, Boyne/Tannum, Calliope, Mt Larcom and Benaraby regions. It offers building inspections, pest inspections, pool inspections and thermal imaging.

Home buyers and investors preparing to purchase property in Gladstone rely on this firm for pre-purchase building and pest assessments, and the feedback consistently highlights the depth of the work. Reports are described as well written and concise, backed by extensive notes and photographs, with documentation often delivered on the same day the inspection takes place. Andrew is named repeatedly for his professionalism, his willingness to talk findings through over the phone and his prompt follow-up on questions raised afterwards. A recurring theme is flexibility around tight settlement deadlines, with inspections fitted into restricted schedules or short-notice cancellations.

Several accounts point to the practical value of the service, including one where a leaking shower was detected and saved the buyer money. Pricing is described as fair and reasonable for the work involved, and the team is characterised as friendly, efficient and responsive from first contact through to the final report. One reviewer credits John and his team with helpful advice on preventing and managing pest problems. Work spans residential purchases and investment properties, and buyers frequently mention the confidence the findings gave them before committing.
