Canberra Pest Control

I would not engage this company again under any circumstances, they have an inefficient payment system and may put your credit rating at risk/threaten court action due to their own internal errors. We were previously customers of Canberra Pest Control and had not had issues with the service. Since the business was acquired by Flick Anticimex, I was required to set up their automated payment system prior to the scheduled service. The system repeatedly malfunctioned, but after multiple attempts I was assured that the payment details had been successfully set-up. A technician subsequently attended and completed the service, and I had no reason to believe there were any outstanding issues. Twelve months later, I received a Final Payment Notice from a debt collection agency advising that payment for the service had not been received. At no point during the year did Flick contact me to advise that their system had failed to process the payment. No follow‑up occurred on the day of service, nor was any communication made in the months that followed to alert me to an administrative error. Upon contacting the company, I was informed that two separate accounts had been created under my name and that my payment details had been incorrectly linked to the other account. As a result, the payment was never processed. I was advised by Flick that the debt collection agency would be notified to cease further action, and that the invoice would now be reissued for payment. It is unacceptable that the company allowed an internal administrative error to escalate to the point of involving a debt collection agency, thereby placing my credit rating at risk over a couple of hundred dollars. This reflects a serious failure in both their systems and their customer communication processes. If I could give them less than a star I would.

Did a great job, in one treatment fixed a problem. Offered a follow up but were not pushy. Would highly recommend

I have been using Canberra pest control to keep spiders at bay for years. Great with reminders. Easy to book. Arrived on time and did exactly as they said they would each time. Doesn't totally eliminate spiders (not possible) but drastically reduced them. Friends have also used them for rodents and European wasps and have been happy with the service.

We’ve had a problem with moths at our house. From the initial phone call to Scott, I felt reassured by their processes & was pleased to learn of a 3 month warranty. This is very much unlike a different business in Canberra that suggested we move all the furniture out of the house as part of the treatment process - ridiculous and impractical. Anthony came to spray the house and was polite, informative & did a great job. Can confidently recommend Canberra Pest Control.

We've been using Canberra Pest Control for almost ten years and the boys from CPC always provided professional service, are super friendly and detailed and loved a chat! We always had our house treated at the end of winter and enjoyed summer months almost insect free inside the house. They also took care of our rodent problem. Highly recommended!

Canberra Pest Control have been great. I’ve had a bad case of carpet moths which has taken three visits from the team (the second and third at no charge). I think the moths are gone now thank goodness. Three different men came out. Each very knowledgeable , helpful and determined. Dale was the last one and he was terrific moving furniture and then as I was about to drive to work he noticed I had a very flat tyre - which he then replaced for me!!! That’s customer service above and beyond - and very much appreciated. Thanks Dale and the rest of the team. I will use your services again- though hopefully not for a while.

Very happy with responsiveness and availability given it is New Year's Eve. Professional service, great pricing and could not be happier with Mark's attendance, attention to detail, information and advice he provided.
