Dawson's Australia - Pest Control Geelong

Dawson's Australia was one of Melbourne's first bug and pest control companies and has over 60 years of experience in the industry. It is currently led by Troy Dawson, the third generation of the Dawson family, and in 2022 the company joined Flick Anticimex to support a geographical expansion of Flick services in greater Melbourne.

All treatments are carried out by professional, licensed pest services technicians. Services include termite treatment and protection, bed bug spraying, spider control, rodent control, flea control, bird control and bee and wasp control.

Pest control and bird control work across Geelong is the focus here, with customers describing general extermination, spider and wasp treatments, flea eradication and termite checks as the jobs most often handled. Reviews time and again mention that technicians arrive at the agreed time and explain each stage of the process before starting, so households know what is being applied and why.

Named staff such as Jake and Tyler come in for particular praise, with Jake singled out for finding entry points created by mice and offering practical advice on preventing rodents from returning, and Tyler described as knowledgeable and friendly while dealing with a wasp nest and a termite inspection. A point that comes up often is the thoroughness of the work, including a second inspection after spraying to confirm the treatment had taken effect. Communication before and after the job, from the initial call through to follow-up advice, is reported as clear and reassuring, and several customers note that problems such as spider infestations did not recur afterwards.
