JJM Pest Management

JJM Pest Management is a family owned business based in Garbutt that has operated in Townsville for more than twenty years. Every technician holds a current Queensland pest management technician licence, the company carries full public liability insurance, and its fumigation division holds AQIS accreditation for export and import fumigation.

It handles the full range of residential and commercial pest control, from a single cockroach treatment through to AQIS licensed export fumigation, rodent control, bird proofing, and accredited methamphetamine contamination sampling and reporting. Termite work is carried out to Australian Standards AS 3660.1, AS 3660.2, and AS 4349.3, and the business travels beyond Townsville to Charters Towers, Magnetic Island, Ingham, Ayr and Cardwell.

Pre-purchase pest inspections and general pest management are the services that customers most often highlight when describing their experience with this Townsville company. Several reviewers describe the process as thorough and professional from start to finish, with the on-site inspector receiving particular praise for his detailed approach and clear communication.

A point that comes up often is the reliability of the service, with customers noting that appointments are kept and the work is carried out as promised, whether for a first-time residential booking or a repeat engagement arranged through a workplace. Reviews time and again mention the friendly and approachable manner of the team, describing interactions as pleasant and straightforward, and one customer named Kurt specifically, crediting him with a service standard that was rated ten out of ten.

Fair pricing is another theme, with the cost described as reasonable for the quality delivered, and the family-run nature of the operation is noted as a positive aspect that adds to the sense of trust. Tidiness and a professional finish are also referenced, alongside the expertise and advice provided during inspections. Customers consistently return to the same themes of trustworthiness, careful workmanship and a personal touch that keeps them coming back for both pre-purchase assessments and routine pest control.
