Pied Piper Pest Control

Pied Piper Pest Control is a family-owned Tasmanian business run by AJ (Allyn) Whitehead and his wife Kimberley, who have provided pest control services to Hobart, Moonah, Sorell and the wider Hobart metropolitan area since 2012. AJ's pest control experience in Tasmania, Victoria and London began in 2001, and he is qualified, licensed and fully insured.

The business specialises in complete residential and commercial pest control solutions across greater Hobart and Southern Tasmania.

Households around Hobart call on this pest control operator for urgent wasp and bee nests, including swarms close to play areas, and for interior ant infestations. AJ is named repeatedly in feedback, with reviewers highlighting his friendly manner, prompt replies to enquiries and willingness to explain his plan before starting. Ant treatments in particular are described as thorough and lasting, with the problem resolved after a single visit. Something that features in review after review is the care taken to work with minimal disruption and to clean up afterwards, leaving the site tidy.

Customers characterise the pricing as honest and upfront, and the quoting process as straightforward from first contact through to completion. Much of the work is repeat business, with at least one household booking the service a second time after a satisfactory first visit. Reviewers also point to the depth of knowledge behind the advice, describing the approach as expert and genuinely enthusiastic about pest management, and note that jobs are finished quickly rather than drawn out. Bee, wasp and ant work in residential settings, and the calm handling of urgent call-outs, run through the accounts.
