POD's Pest Control

POD's Pest Control is a family owned and run Townsville business, established since 1968 and founded by Peter, Ozzie and David, whose initials give the company its name. It provides pre-construction and post-construction pest inspections and certification, and serves business, company and government projects.

The company is FLIR and ITC certified for thermal imaging camera inspections, and uses termite treatment products such as Term-seal and Termidor termite barrier soil treatments.

Property owners facing active infestations and seasonal pest pressure make up much of the work described for this Townsville operator. Treatments for ants, rodents and termites feature throughout the accounts, with customers noting that problems cleared within a fortnight of the visit and did not return. Thoroughness of the spray work is a recurring theme, as is the practice of walking householders through the chemicals applied and how they act, including checks on whether anyone on site has asthma before starting.

Aaron is named directly in feedback, including an account of him attending personally and promptly when a termite nest was found during post-flood clean-up, treating it quickly at what the customer regarded as a fair rate. Reliability and punctuality come up again and again, describing a business that arrives when it says it will and finishes the job efficiently.

Friendliness and patience with questions are common threads, with technicians described as knowledgeable and willing to explain each step. Tidiness and care around the property also feature, alongside the ease of dealing with the team from the first call through to follow-up. Attention to detail is a point that comes up often, particularly the extra checks made before and after application. Ant, rodent and termite treatments remain the services most often cited by those who have used the company.
